What's more boring: cricket or baseball?

Let's be honest, both are boring and no one really understands them. But which one one puts you to sleep quicker?

Lmao, I actually really like baseball, but it’s definitely a slow-paced game. That’s kind of why I like it, I can have it on TV in the background on spring and summer nights and pay half-attention to it but do other shit. It’s like having calming music in the background, except there are occasional bursts of excitement.

So I guess I’d go with cricket, but I have no real knowledge of the sport whatsoever. I’d imagine it could be similarly paced to baseball. I’d just be bored because I don’t understand the game, whereas I at least played baseball growing up and have at least a fair understanding of it, and I definitely know the essential basic rules.

Test Cricket... what other sport is there that lasts 5 days and, at the end, it ends in a no decision because one side wasn't all out, even though it was 100+ runs behind?

While visiting Australia several years ago, I attended an England-Australia Test Match. The Aussies I was with explained the game to me, an American who grew up loving baseball, emphasizing that it was a perfect sport to drink beer and have a picnic.

Baseball is so easy to understand, I can explain it in one sentence:
On home base, you hit the ball with a bat, and if someone catches it or if someone tags you with the ball when you're not on a base, then you're out, but if you run around the three bases back home, then you score a point.

Also in America, we use a baseball analogy for scoring with girls.
Going to first base on a date means you kissed her.
Second base is a hand job
Third base is oral.
Home run means you put your bat in her vagina.

Well , if its a test match ( Cricket ) it goes 5 days , thats a lot to take in , its a game of Strategy and can still end in a draw , I love cricket but I can't watch every ball of a test match. Baseball is more like 20/20 cricket , it faster. So " boredom " I guess depends on the values of the spectator --
Generally , Id say Cricket would put more people to sleep.

I played baseball from the time I was a small boy and through high school. I enjoyed playing baseball, but I seldom watch it on TV.

Cricket? I never figured it out and have no desire to try.

I like to go to an occasional baseball game. To me it is a ritual of summer. If baseball was played in winter it would probably suck.

Well I'm American so there reallyis only one sport "Basketball". The rest are just games. But I can appreciate baseball. Everyone loves a night at the ballpark. But cricket. That's one of those weird foreign games that no one understands.

It is. A famous cricket dude died recently and they showed a supposedly "amazing" moment he had. It was "groundbreaking" for some reason and I had no clue as to why it is considered so fantastic. And I watched it like 6 times. Baseball has awesome highlights all the time.
