Who are the best two pitchers on the same team that you've ever seen in Major League Baseball?

Late 1990's

For me, this tandem is hard to beat. It's a little hard to compare the modern era to the 1990's Braves though, because there have been changes to the baseball mass and dimensions in the big leagues. It's easier to hit homeruns with the new balls.

Man yeah, I'll second that. Nolan Ryan plus just about anybody is still a good tandem. I was a little too young to remember Nolan Ryan even though He played so long, because back then all I did was play video games and didn't really watch sports.

when i watched Maddux he reminded me of Koufax, built the strike zone in the first two innings, if you were going to hit him you better do it then, Drysdale was a good pitcher that would also hit ten home runs in a year, think about that for a starting pitcher

I know Nolan Ryan pitched a perfect game in the 1970's and I think he had multiple no hitters. He also had multiple immaculate Innings in his career. He could win a game by throwing 100 fast balls or he could throw an immaculate inning by throwing a different type of pitch every time he threw a pitch.
