That feat belongs to the "Say Hey Kid", Willie Mays. If you look at his entire career, in which he hit 660 home runs, there is at least one home run in every numbered inning (1-16), yes that includes extra-inning games.

I don't understand the question. As I read it, the game went into overtime with 7 extra innings. Somebody hit a home run in every one of those innings, which means at least 16 home runs in a game. That's extremely high for a team total, let alone for one person. It also means that the other team scored at least one run in each of the overtime innings.

I have no clue, but I think the most likely answer is "Trick question". If that is not the answer, I'm going to totally guess Barry Bonds.

The only time I've actively followed baseball was during the "Big Red Machine" days in the 70s. They were a power team with the first 6-7 batters being serious home run threats (The Pirates were a close second). They had all kinds of home run records. But I don't think they ever came close to those kind of numbers. I'd be extremely surprised if any of them even got on base that many times.

The question says over their career, not in a game. That would definitely be impossible.

OK, I see. It could be interpreted both ways. I read it as a single game, at some point during their career. To do that would be theoretically possible, but extraordinarily unlikely.
