Wrestling is a more physically demanding sport. If you're fighting a wrestler on neutral terrain, you're probably losing. To an untrained person, it appears as if they're crawling on the ground.

Wow really. You know i was thinking of myself of competing in the golden gloves boxing but i would need a trainer, nutrition plan, and build up punching power as well physique.

Yes you would have to go to a serious boxing gym for that and have a full-time trainer and do a lot of spraying and boxing training and plus you have to run six days a week but if you put your mind to it and are motivated and work hard you can do it

Oh okay, yes i will be highly motivated and love to if you someone would be in time and effort to show me the fundamentals and training for boxing. I started thinking about doing as a hobby and work on having fighting skills as i'm not very good honestly. I know others say it's gruesome as for the training of boxing and some people would say either jokingly or not when i spoke out about taking up boxing, some said they would beat my ass and they'll work me so hard i would quit.

I'm kinda built, i would show you the body type i have i'm not sure to call bulky as i need to define my muscle but i haven't been very active to say the least. I want to ask you some questions though if you wouldn't mind me asking or we could private message about this matter. I'm genuinely interested in knowing how was your journey to becoming a golden glove champion. I'm very much curious to hear sir.

If my HS had amateur boxing I would of been all over it. I wanted to do this since I was 12. But the closest boxing gym (way back then) was 30 miles away in a bad part of town. Parents had zero interest in driving me all the time downtown in a rough area just for that.

Anyway from an insurance (and politically correct) perspective wrestling is much safer for young kids to start in. Don’t get me wrong it’s a very tough sport but you don’t take (as much) trauma to the head. Still though I would have loved to learn boxing much younger. Kickboxing would of been even better.
