Girls, As a athlete - do you enjoy competing with guys?

what sports have you competed in?

I did when I was in shape. I did Taekwondo and wrestling. Girls were just too easy to beat. That said, I don’t think men should be competing in women’s sports.

I’m a college wrestler and have also competed in several martial arts like Karate, BJJ, and Krav. I find it awkward to get partnered with a girl because you don’t want to hurt them

Fair! Not all guys are as skilled as you, I’m sure. I only wrestled in high school too so it was a lot easier. Haha

Was it awkward for you on the guys team? We just had a girl join our team and it’s a little awkward competing with her

It wasn’t too awkward as I had been competing with men for awhile before that. But it was somewhat awkward just because I was the only girl. Lol I recently joined an all men’s BJJ class but my health has taken a turn for the worse so I had to quit.

Haha what was more awkward was actually wrestling them in those singlets. Man I miss my martial arts days. :(

Yes, and most of the time you can't find enough girl so you need to go with guys if you want to practise

Yes it is probably not easy to make a full wresting class with girls. Just stay cool, you'll be fine 😂

Probably because you can see the muscles well 😂 and wrestlers have big muscles I guess
