+1 yIt depends on the sport in question. When I was in college, I used to play badminton, racquetball, or just toss a football back and forth with my guy friends, or boyfriend at the time.
Nothing hardcore or contact sports like football where I could get tackled to the ground! Don't get me wrong, I'm tomboy-ish and in decent shape, but I'm not stupid. I'm not going to let a guy toss me around or possibly injure me playing something rough.00 Reply

+1 yNo, I stopped after I played with my brothers once and they kicked the ball so hard that it hit my stomach. It was painful and they were laughing about it until it got serious and I had to go to the hospital, left a bruise there for some time but all good now and I learned to not play with guys again.💕✨

Asker+1 yI got hit in the groin by my guy friends plenty of times doesn’t mean i stopped playing with them 🤔

A guy’s body different from a woman’s body. It’s build in a different ways. You handle it but it was too much for me
Asker+1 yYou do understand when a guy gets hit down there, we buckle down and remain in a fetal position for a while. Once; I was soo mad getting hit in the groin playing soccer with the guys I was legit punching the ground afterwards soo there’s my GAG nut talk 101... sorry if that sounds a little disturbing lol.
Asker+1 yYou’re probably going to read that last comment and not respond 😐
What Girls Said
No. Especially with the boys who’ve hit puberty and look like they take good knows how many performance enhancers and play sports like their about to get drafted for the league. Lmaoo

Asker+1 yI never took steroids but I know a few guys who did.
+1 yYeah, but sometimes they feel like they own the place. I played basketball with guys. I'm very good, so they stopped playing with me.

Asker+1 yWait really? How good are you?
- +1 y
I mean, my couch and teammates said I'm good. I'm a good shooter and I always know how to quickly rob the ball from the other team. Also, if the coach invites you to most games (to play obviously haha) it means you're good and that's what I did mostly. I played for almost 5 years, but stopped after I fractured my foot and my coach retired.
Are you good at basketball?
Asker+1 yWell if you beat me then clearly I’m not good at basketball lol

+1 yDepends on what the characteristics of the sport was. If it's mostly skill based then it's not a problem but if its strength based I'd be less willing in case I hurt him.

+1 yI've gone to badminton and taekwondo, where the others were primarily guys.
And that was not an issue at all.02 Reply
Asker+1 yWhat about hockey?
- +1 y
I haven't tried hockey and it doesn't seem like my thing
It depends, If it’s a guy I’m pretty close with then it’s no biggie. But if it’s someone I just meet and is like a pro at sport, I’ll be a little intimidated.

+1 yOnly if its baseball. They get too aggressive and overly competitive in other stuff

Asker+1 yThat’s why you have to pull a certain trick up your sleeve
- +1 y
What? To do something seductive to distract them? Lol
Asker+1 yI didn’t think of that but yea that works. I mean if I was trying to focus and beat you and you walked by and you’re like “you look soo hot in those basketball shorts! How about you show me where you bought them”
Me: 😯- +1 y
Hahaha
Asker+1 yBy the way you’re name isn’t Dalia is it?
- +1 y
Its Desi which isn't obvious at all 🤦♀️
Asker+1 yYea but desi for Indian means like a cultural meaning lol so I just wanted to make sure
- +1 y
Yea im not Indian. Its my name
Asker+1 ySo be honest if I was playing a sport against you would you do something to make me lose focus.
- +1 y
Not intentionally
Asker+1 yGirls always say that. You could be doing jumping jacks to warm up on the side... guys 😲
- +1 y
Hahahah 😄
Asker+1 yActually once I was distracted by a girl stretching as we were about to play football for coed gym class. I was near the football post with my hands down and not paying attention and a guy threw a football and hit me right in the dick. Not sure if that was karma for looking at her.
- +1 y
Lol not karma but a lesson to be learned 🤣
Asker+1 yHer friend saw it happen and started shouting touch down! Touch down! Touch down! And said if I need a tampon to borrow. *smh* 🤦🏻♂️
- +1 y
Damn that was rude of em. I wouldve kicked the ball at their crotch
Asker+1 yI didn’t know in a girls mind a touch down is a dude getting hit in the dong with a ball but apparently it is
- +1 y
Thats just their minds. Theyre jerks
+1 yNo, I find that the guys are rough. I played co-ed basketball and felt that I wasn’t good enough.

+1 yNo they’re so violent lol I’d rather not they’re scary lol

unless it's football or rugby, those I can't play with anybody because I suck at them02 Reply
Asker+1 yYea don’t play rugby with guys, I got elbowed in the nose playing rugby and my nose started gushing blood.
- +1 y
I get nose bleeds easy
+1 yI play soccer with guys, sometimes I think about never showing up again, esp after someone gets pounded in the face

Asker+1 yThat’s no excuse lol. You’re taking to a guy who once played soccer as goalie and the soccer ball was loose around the net, this girl slide in and tried to kick it in. Except, the slide right into my crotch. This is the same girl I asked out 2 months later and got rejected. I don’t let those two incidents hold me back from asking out girls or playing against them.
Yesssss bring on the competitive spirit haha😂🤣❤

Asker+1 yWhat if it’s karate?
Asker+1 yBring it on... kidding I can’t hurt a girl not gonna lie I’d just go easy on you. So I know a girl such as yourself will capitalize on those opportunities.
Asker+1 yIn that case I’ll wear my jock strap and cup. But then I’d probably take it off because I’ll probably think I don’t want her to hurt her foot kicking a plastic cup.
Asker+1 yYea but getting kicked in the balls if it’s done fairly efficiently could make a guy cry and majority of guys can relate 🤷🏻♂️
Asker+1 yShow me lol. I’ll just volunteer for the heck of it and chalk it up as a beneficial experience for you to protect yourself against creepy ass dudes or men.
Asker+1 yAndddd she backs out lol
Yeah depending upon the sport.

Asker+1 yBasketball?
Asker+1 yI’m 5’9 if I was practicing basketball alone in the park and I say you walking by and asked you hey do you wanna play a game of 1 on 1. Would you find that incredibly odd. Or would you think, hmm he’s not over 6ft so it shouldn’t be that bad.
Asker+1 ySaw*
Asker+1 yWell in that case I win, even if do beat me, I got you to play, SCORE!
Asker+1 yEven if you do beat me*
+1 yYeah but I prefer to play with other women, ngl

Asker+1 yWhy?
- +1 y
Guys usually are better and will beat me at the game faster. Either that or they will intentionally let me win which kinda low-key sucks.
Asker+1 yYea I remember letting a girl win at basketball. I was playing defence up close and she would turn and her knee would be like 3 inches from my crotch so yea not gonna lie that scared me a little. So I backed off a little and let her score.
- +1 y
lol...
Asker+1 yBut to end the story she did knee me in the groin and she’s like oops I thought you were wearing a cup I thought guys wear those. I had to sit on the bench and tell her guys don’t wear those every time they play sports. So the rule of the day is girls may accidentally sack a guy down there and not give a shit if she wins.
- +1 y
Sounds like she learnt something that day.
Asker+1 yWhat did she learn? And she’s like that’s not my fault I kneed you in the groin you were playing defence super close what do you expect.
I was like 😖😖😖
Asker+1 yI guess you were gonna say the moral of the story is she found a way to win the game 🤦🏻♂️... ugh... the female advantage
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yDepends on who the guys are.
