Personally I think it should be ok for women to compete in the men's competition if they want, and are of comparable ability (which I know they only rarely will be, but in the minority of cases).
My only reservation is whether men will find it uncomfortable and hold back compared to when they fight other guys.
Would i hold back? No. But i’m almost certainly in the minority. I follow MMA channels, pages, and subreddits. There have recently been a rash of videos published showing girls beating up boys, particularly in jiu jitsu. While this is definitely one art form in which women can excel because the most effective techniques are based on leverage and positioning more than strength and to some extent speed. Most of the videos i’m seeing are either mismatches in skill and experience, or the boys are hesitating because they’re fighting a girl. Arguably with good reasons.
Women sue employers over men saying and doing things that women describe as “sexual harassment”, and insist on “equality” in the very same breath. Typically, men say and do the exact same things to each other, and it’s funny or posturing. You’re not achieving equality if you expect to be “protected” from normal and common behavior that nobody is protecting men from.
Now imagine what girls and women don’t know about competitive grappling and how quickly a bad position or worse, a loss, might turn into allegations of sexual assault or battery, possibly even for competitive gain. You ever watch all the “floppers” in major league soccer? Any reason to believe THAT mentality wouldn’t make it into fighting?
Males should fight males and females should fight females, unless complete understanding and trust already exist. No male should be required to fight a female that they don’t know and trust, or vice versa.
Women will get absolutely obliterated. I've done martial arts for years, and in the few instances that I've sparred against women in Jiujitsu I've thrown them around, and tapped them pretty easily. I always hold back, don't squeeze too hard, or try to hurt them, but I'll put them in a submission and apply light pressure until they tap out.
You can feel their physical weakness next to you- they'll be pulling your arm with both of theirs and you can just wrench it free, sometimes throwing her in the process. Their necks are usually thinner and fragile, and their bones are more flexible (it's hard to explain, but guys are just more solidly built) where you can easily squeeze the air from their lungs, or choke them... It's really a sick feeling.

It's an unfair situation to put guys in. It has nothing to do with the notion that women can't wrestle. They absolutely can and do. The problem is that you're forcing the guy to wrestle the girl or forfeit the match.
1) A lot of men are raised to never get physical with women.
2) Not wanting to go 100% like he would against another guy.
3) He does go 100%, accidentally hurts her, and then feels like shit for hurting a woman.
The only feelings that are being taken into consideration are the women's and I think that's wrong.
agree with you, if women want to do that ok. Guys have a right to bail out if its one on one and shouldn't count against them.
I fought a girl once... dang she was quick. I held back since I didn't want to hurt her and I let her kick me and egged her on. If was real competition, I'd have knocked her down.
I've raced against girls and a few of them were better. It's fine, it makes me more aggressive.
That's what trans want? a man should always keep his pimp hand strong, so he never lose to a woman, men are naturally much stronger than women, that's why there is an separation.
Most mixed gender events are shit. Hence why they are never as popular as the single gender sport.
There are too many rules and regulations, and the events are rarely any good.
As for wrestling, it's never my cup of tea, but if it was a competition, then it would be a disservice to the fans and sport to - "hold back" against an opponent.
I don’t recommend it at all. Now in some certain situations, a very handful of women could manage to battle with some of the men while most of them will be crushed.
The woman fighters would have to be the elite of the elite in reference to physical training and technical skills in order to keep up with the average male fighters. The physiological differences between the sexes is so incredibly obvious from bone density, muscles, lung capacity, recovery time, height, arm length, etc.
I am kinda against mixed gender wrestling just guys are mostly stronger than girls. I am not saying girls are not strong and I know a couple girls that could kick my ass I just think gender should stay in there own. Also there some sports that girsl don't have like guys don't have

I sometimes wrestle women for fun, and I would not go all out to win unless she clearly wanted a match of that intensity and she was clearly capable of coming out on top. I’m not a big guy so there are many women who can match up to my size and give me a good tussle.
Well, Technically transgender athletes has proved gender superiority.
I just want to know why would a female want to wrestle with a male. Lets suppose she wins will that make her feel she's stronger than males. Because I think from a male pov winning against a female doesn't have an importance as an achievement.
It is natural for a guy to ease up. If the average untrained dude goes up against a smaller well trained (not even highly trained) female he better not ease up. I bet on the most skilled and fit one over size and strength.

Most Male Fighters would hold back a bit still if they were Fighting a Female because it's a part of a lot of Guys Morals to not Hurt Women and we never change our Morals.
