What is the highest score you ever got in bowling?

I managed to break into the low 200's once- it was a pure fluke, and I've never gotten anywhere close to that again (or before). Weirdly, it was the first time I ever bowled without bumpers.

Bowling is kind of weird, because beyond a certain point, it gets less interesting as you get older; professional bowling is VERY dull, because it's just strike after strike after strike. I'm convinced this is why it's the only sport where drinking and smoking are required parts.

That's one of those games where I have to relearn the rules and then forget them as soon as I'm done. Data dump. I think I mostly go bowling just so I can drink beers and do something with people. Like a bar, only there is an activity to do. So if you ask me about scores... I'll just tell you I scored a shit load of beer.

I get anywhere between 8/10 to perfect 10/10 with a rifle (iron sights), and between 6/10 and 9/10 with a handgun depending on distance. When it comes to rolling a ball down a lane at a deck of pins, I think I barely broke 100/300 maybe twice.
