Who likes to ride bicycles?

I have an old Road Bike, 14 speed, that I used to ride every weekend, from Huntington Beach to Newport Beach, (Laguna Beach) sometimes. If you are familiar with this area, I road PCH, down to the Back Bay... and around the back Bay and then home through Costa Mesa... sometimes a 30 mile ride. Got injured in the Back Bay and was in the hospital for several days and on crutches for about 6 months.

That incident along with the number of fatal incidents involving bicyclists here, hit and run etc, and the last straw was on the way to work one morning, I saw a truck driver hit a biker with the outside rear view mirror and injured him badly.

My bike and all my riding gear, are in a closet and I may not ride again.

I do, well its often my prefered mode of transportation. I dont do it for fun though.
