Yep, I very much enjoy bicycle riding.

In the area in which I live, there are many miles of trails, mostly asphalted, with there being some abandoned railways that have had the rails removed and are now paved with gravel.
They traverse through wooded and scenic areas, connecting subdivisions and parks, with some connecting different distinct municipalities or unincorporated regions within the metro area.
Some of them offer safer bicycling access to nearby shops and restaurants than surface roads would provide.

There are two entrances to them just a couple of streets from my house within my own subdivision that can take me for many miles without my needing to ride on any surface roads.

The approaching colder weather has reduced my cycling activities somewhat, but I still get out fairly frequently.

I've just returned from a ride about 30 minutes ago.

We did 55 miles I'm in a cycling club following a leader, but we had a morning stop for a drink, a lunch stop for a meal and drink, and an afternoon stop for a drink.

The ride wasn't very hilly, but it was a hard ride for me, because I've not been doing much cycling this summer.

I usually go out with the club every week, and we regularly cycle 70 or 80 miles, sometimes even further.

I've been busy this year, but I have regularly led rides in the past, and I led a ride a few weeks ago.

Cycling is fun in a group, good for keeping fit, and good socially.
There are Cycling groups that just travel a few miles, and some all female groups too.

I used to bike all the time. It was my main means of commute. Now my bike is pretty out of commission. But I was at a cousin's house recently and he wanted to take a bike to another friend's house so we could all bike a trail together. I literally carried a bike with one hand and rode about 5k to the friend's house. Then we biked together on the trail which took about 30 min one way and 40 min back because one of the bikes was pumped too much and the tire popped. I ended up being the nice guy and rode back with the popped tire. So that was one hell of a workout that day.

Ah I realize I didn't answer the question. Because I use it primarily for commute, I don't see biking as fun honestly. It does help to keep me fit though.

The town where I live is not very bike-friendly. There's not much respect from car drivers, they don't give you enough room and intersections are always crowded.

There are strectches along the coast where you can ride your bike for several kilometers on a separate track, but once you get off the bycicle track, it's chaos.

@thegreenyogi Just talked about that with my friend. I have an old Nishiki 14 speed that has not been ridden in 10 years. I quit riding about 10 years ago after a near-fatal accident that left me hospitalized for several days and on crutches for about 2-3 months. After I recover from recent spine surgery, I told my girlfriend I may buy another good road bike and start again. I have all of the gear, and riding clothes and even a Tour Yellow Jersey.

I love my bike. Last ride was yesterday. It takes me on adventures and challenges me physically. Its my go to to de stress... problem is winter is coming. My bike will be parked soon.

When I was younger I enjoyed it and it was a major form of transportation for me.

Over the years of being an adult it was mostly done with my children and now grandchildren as they get older and ride bikes.

About two months ago we had a few days of riding while they stayed the weekend with me.

Actually I rode it last week.

Nowadays, I ride my bike at least once a week.

I used to bike a lot when I trained for and competed in triathlons.

I've been too busy, lately, that I couldn't sign up for the races.

Sure. My friends and I used to ride often, usually 25 mile rides, but it has been a couple years. I have 3 bikes. Two mountain bikes and one road bike (Specialized Allez). I also sometimes use my stationary bike.

In the city I do practically everything with my bike. On the weekend, if the weather allows it, I like the forest trails.

No. I’ll never get on a bike again. When I was 10, I fell off my bike and broke my leg (I have a bone condition). I never got on a bike again.
