I have boxed with my brother all my childhood, I do like it.
My brother says I am very fast and unpredictable and he pities anyone who’ll decide to try boxing with me.
But he always won, it’s just my strong side is - I don’t give up.
Thank you
Fast and unpredictable huh? Tire your opponent out?
@OneManOnly01 Hahaha, yep. I have very fast reflexes.
Think you'd still be able to box after all this long? Why didn't you continue doing it?
I no longer find it that fun. I still have very fast reaction though. Cause I have often seen a child falling, the last time little baby was stumbling down the escalator, I don’t know what her parents were doing and have saved them many times while their parents were standing there stunned looking with terror. I am just real quick and have fast reactions. It’s not only good for boxing.
Spider senses? You should try measuring your reaction time or something
@OneManOnly01 how do I measure that?
I'm sure there must be some way? Try looking that up? I would definitely make my reflexes faster if I got the chance
@OneManOnly01 Mine are really very fast. But I am a bit hot headed too. I tend to talk before thinking…
But a good thing is I’ve never had a child injure herself in front of me, If I am in the same room as them, I just react in milliseconds. I don’t know why. I’ve always had very quick reactions since childhood.
Hot headed? I think I'd call it bold or confident than hot-headed? Hot headed is probably more like getting angry and doing things without thinking of consequences.
I guess your reflexes are still very practical and useful in things other than just fighting lol.
@OneManOnly01 Oh, I guess that’s it then. I don’t easily get angry, have a very big patience.
Yeah that makes sense, you'd probably make your opponent angry if you boxed them, like dodge their strikes and tire them out until annoyed and frustrated? See what I mean lol?
I had a 'frenemy' who has some great reflexes, he was not very strong but had fast reflexes and great stamina, the longer your fight goes on with him, the worse it'll get for you
@OneManOnly01 Haha, yep. I have done that. The best thing about my fast reflexes is that, the opponent can rarely say where I am going to hit from, I like making him confused with my other actions and then go for a hit with another hand real quick.
And I guess my patience works in my favour too. But I am not very strong, my only strength is speed and being very unpredictable haha
That's would be VERY fun to do and it'd make you so confident of yourself. Imagine your opponent throwing random haymakers and tiring themselves out while you just evade and counter their strikes and annoy them.
If your opponent can't know which part of their body you are going to target next, they will eventually succumb to your low powered but persistent and relentless offense.
That seems like such an ideal way to fight, tire the opponents out and make them weak and defenseless and then demolish them with persistence until they can't take it anymore and succumb to superior stamina.
I guess unpredictability, persistence and reflexes is a pretty deadly combo ngl😜
That's hard, I feel people can hurt themselves really bad but I don't know it very well
I am more into grappling and karate, but I do like boxing.
Yep growing up I was boxing 🥊
