Because it helps keep sand out of the nooks and crannies. Good for them! If you’re not getting paid, and by the written rules of the Olympic games they shouldn’t be, why give away your peach and giblets?

I was watching beach volleyball and I was wondering why they are not in there bikinis but I guess they was playing at night and it is raining so maybe there wearing long pants to keep warm.

Long pants will restrict your mobility while playing volleyball.. But the things they're wearing look like leggings.. Not too sure..

These pants have come a long way , they want to wear the product that will allow them to play the sport at the highest possible level , its rather belittling when you read stories of some guy saying he's " only watching because of bikini bottoms " ..

If that's the case they should hang around beaches.

Ref won't let them wear knee pads and pants are the only thing stopping Thier knees from getting a sand rash when diving and stuff.
