How to beat Israel Adesanya at MMA.
He likes to throw a lot of high roundhouse kicks, which makes him vulnerable to a heel hook. Here, a 7th Degree Shorinryu black belt demonstrates at "demonstration speed" how to heel hook vs a straight kick. If you can heel hook vs a straight kick, then it's easy to heel hook vs a roundhouse.
Ramsey Dewey, pro MMA judge, swears these techniques do not work or else are not reliable enough. I know that they do work, because I was my sensei's demonstration partner for 4 years. He must have tapped me out with this stuff 10,000 times all together.

I'm not a fan of MMA but you can't dispute its practicality.
I'm interested in traditional martial arts. And sorry, but those kind of kick locks don't seem very practical. Your opponent is going to snap his kick, not give you 5 secs to put a lock on. Whenever we did sparring, it would limit what we could actually do to like 5% of what was in a form.
Really, there's no need to pander to MMA. It's very good for what is specifically caters for. First rule of fighting, don't fight someone else's game.
I've caught snap kicks and straight punches out of the air before and locked down the attacker from a Second Dan 155lbs black belt attacking me. It's how I used to win the 1vs2 handicap match when my Sensei was testing me for First Degree Black Belt. they attack you simultaneously, and you catch the first attacker in a lock and keep his body between you and the second attacker. I got where I could do the locks so reliably that my sensei ran out of ways to challenge me with 1vs1 disarm drills and 2vs1 handicaps drills, so he one time even started having two armed attackers attack me simultaneously, and I could disarm them too.
If this stuff DIDN'T work, I wouldn't be able to win those challenges.
I know very well what a Front Snap kick is, and the kick he is demonstrating on at demonstration speed is a front snap kick for goodness sake. It's hard to do this particular lock full speed without injuring the demonstration partner, because if you do it full speed it will dislocate their hip before they even get to tap.
And the locks worked vs the 235lbs heavyweight 2nd Dan ex-marine. If he came at me first, I locked him down first instead. It worked either way.
That was DEMONSTRATION SPEED, as I've already said. It takes like 5 hundreds of a second to execute the entire lock at full speed. I've done it myself before at "nearly full speed" and I've had it demonstrated on me at "nearly full speed". Sensei had to specifically train me to take some of the lcoks he needed to demonstrate in the dojo, and I've been locked by so many wrist and elbow locks and ankle locks in my career that I am now abnormally resistant to the pain they cause, even then, he could tap me out by just CRANKING or using "COMBINED STRIKING" with the lock.
Let me show you something, so you know I'm not exaggerating. I'll teach you how to survive a fight against someone attacking you with a stick, metal pipe, or baseball bat or even some types of knife attacks.

What I think is that you might have missed the actual purpose of gag. The actual purpose as I see it is to ask interesting questions that interest other people besides yourself. This gives others a chance to debate and offer different points of view and to generally become involved in the entire process of thinking about the initial question. To do this, people have to be interested in the initial question or they're just going to ignore it. I think the sparse response to many of your questions speaks for itself in this regard.
I Believe that what you are inadvertently doing with all the martial arts questions, which are really martial arts statements, is to neglect the fact that other people need to be involved in this process. I realize that you are an expert in this area and I appreciate your expositions, but perhaps these would be better as mytakes rather than as actual questions. What do you think?
I do not give two shits in a pot about what sex perverts think about their sexual conquests, guy, and the way I see it, very nearly the only thing anyone discusses on here is their sexual perversions.
If you have a problem with me, don't respond to my threads. You usually don't know what the fuck you're talking about anyway.
Man, you responded to my posts about my game invention by claiming it was "too complicated to understand", yet it actually has less rules than other games targeted at 12 years old kids. Maybe the REAL problem you have with me is you are not smart enough to understand what I like to talk about.
All you have to do is to coach someone and get him good enough to reach Adesanya. If that guy isn't good enough to make it even to ufc, we can safely dismiss this anti adesanya theory
Um, it's a circle-jerk, girl. People don't hire you to be their coach unless you're on Adesanya's team or a former Gracie team member, and those are precisely the people I'm talking about beating or coaching someone to beat.
