How far do you think I can get in MMA?

I contacted a local MMA league based in New Orleans, and after describing my striking and clench skills, the owner said in an email that he wants to talk to me even though I'm 42 years old. Tomorrow he wants to do a phone interview with me.

I told him I wanted to see whether I could still beat twenty years old second and third degree black belts in a fight. I just need to finish cutting weight and I'll be ready to go. I'm going to target 180lbs as my upper weight, because I think the medical chart under-estimates my real ideal weight slightly.

My skills:

6 years (thousands of hours) Isshinryu Karate, kickboxing, and Japanese Jiu JItsu, resulting in 3rd degree brown belt promotion.

200 seminar hours with A. J. Advincula

50 Seminar hours Kung Fu

50 Seminar hours Tai Chi

One year Gracie Jiu Jitsu training

some Shotokan karate and seminar discussing when Isshinryu technique is better vs when Shotokan technique is better.

No, this was not a McDojo. My Sensei flat out didn't promote anyone to brown belt unless he thought they could defeat a heavyweight attacker in a street fight.

I got all my paperworkd and tests sent to the owner, now it's up to him to clear me to join his league and fight. I'm going to hire both my old sensei, Mark and Sherry Myers, and Professor Raphael of Gracie Dojo to retrain me for the next 36 days to cut weight and polish up my skills. I'm also on a zero carbs 800 calorie per day diet from now on until I reach ideal weight.

I've managed to activate the thermogenic burning of fat via the ultra-low calorie, ultra-low carbs diet. I have already lost 7 pounds in the past 4 days, and it should melt 35 pounds off me in the next 35 days. Very good. I'm just doing moderate exercise and stretches and basic karate punches and kicks for reps, and the fat is literally melting off in sweat.
