I don't play golf anymore, but when I was younger, my friends and I often enjoyed playing BINGO BANGO BONGO.

How to play Bingo Bango Bongo, the golf gambling game for rule followers

At each hole, players compete for points, getting one point for each of the following:

BINGO - first player with their ball on the green

BANGO - after all players are on the green, the player whose ball is closest to the whole

BONGO - the player whose ball goes in the hole first

It's important to follow golf's rules about order of play, specifically, after teeing off, player farthest from the hole plays first, then the next closer one etc. until all four players play, then do it again.

This is normally played with a foursome (four players) but can also be played with two or three players.

At the end of the round, each player's points are totaled, and they pay each other whatever their bet was, typically one dollar per point.
