Never really knew, I just figured they waited until that it was damaged or was lost over the stadium but if I had to guess it seems like they replace it after about seven or eight pitches
Correct! 7.5 pitches!!
I am surprised it is over 7.5/. Usually the ball is in play before 7 pitches or it ends up in the dirt.
Correct! 7.5 pitches!!
In MLB games, baseballs typically stay in play for just a few pitches before being replaced or becoming a souvenir. Factors like being hit foul, scuffed, or dirty contribute to their frequent replacement. On average, a baseball lasts about seven pitches. This ensures the quality and fairness of the game as fresh baseballs are consistently introduced. âš¾

Based on what I've seen, less than 7.5 pitches.
That's the smallest choice so I picked it.
Correct! 7.5 pitches!!
Probably less than any of the numbers you used in your poll. Once they make contact with a bat, off they go. Got some dirt on it? Gone!
I was always curious as to how many baseballs are prepared for a game. You gave me the inspiration to actually Google it! Each team brings approximately 156 new balls to each game. You can insert you dirty jokes now 😂😂😂
