I told the OP that Larry Bird, in his prime before the back injury, would win MVP every year in modern NBA. They simply do not have an offensive play-maker like Bird who can also play A+ defense. Nikola Jokic doesn't' even count, because he can't play defense and neither can Luka Doncic. Bird would embarass the modern "super stars" if he was in his prime in today's NBA.

A few years ago Micheal Jordan was asked who would win between the stars of his day versus today's stars. He said the stars of his day would win narrowly. When asked why it would be a narrow vicotry he said "Well, most of them are around 60".
lol. I feel the same way. They old guys could win vs the younger guys much of the time.
I remember when i was a kid at Holden High School, and they took the OLD GUYS who won the state championship in the 1950's in the 3-on-3 era and put them against the 1980's championships team, and the OLD MEN BEAT the high school varsity basketball team COLD with no practice and no warm-ups.
He would be real good and continue on
