So this BJJ/MMA guy on Youtube is talking about "MMA is the closest thing to winning a real fight" nonsense.
That's nonsense. There are over 30 major rules and over 100 banned techniques in MMA. We used to spar in the karate dojo with fewer rules than what they have in MMA actually. There are no rules and no referee in a self-defense situation.
I told the MMA guru that while he was trying to rear naked choke me in a real fight, I'd grab a handful of his testicles and squeeze and twist very hard, or else rip his eyeballs out, and we'll see who gives up first.
I'm a brown belt in Okinawan karate and Japanese Ju Jitsu, but the only reason I'm not a multi-degree black belt is I kept failing the kata portion of the black belt test. In terms of fighting, I used to beat two 2nd Dan black belts attacking me simultaneously in a true 1vs2 handicap match. One of them was a Marine Veteran (Marines are overrated).
Anyway, there's nothing in MMA I haven't already seen in a fight or spar, and there's plenty in an Okinawan karate and JJJ dojo that no MMA fighter even knows.
I'd dislocate that guy's arm if he tried to RNC me.
