How can bruce Lee not beat UFC fighters?

I've seen videos where he breaks wood with his punches so he punches like a heavyweight. Which UFC fighter can do that? Of course you have to know how to fight on the ground but that's no problem to learn

From what I saw of Bruce Lee 'in his prime' he would have made mincemeat' out of most of the so-called UFC contemporary 'fighters today.

I boxed when in my teens, and became a decent 'amateur, but needed a skilled, coach and trainer to be 'good' so I know something about 'fighting'.

Most of what I see in UFC so-called' fights, are 'street fighters' that are not really skilled in anything except getting down on the canvas and 'choking out' an opponent, or maybe dislocating his shoulder, (or trying to)

Most of those 'fights' are won with the loser face down on the canvas after being choked out, or on a 'decision' after being bloodied by being 'hammered' in the face, by some 'street thug'. I don't watch that kind of BS.

He would be curb stomped by an even average level MMA fighter let alone a champion. ITS because he does martial arts for movies and wasn’t testing himself at nearly the same level as MMA fighters do on a daily basis.

That's not a fair assessment. Bruce Lee had an insane fitness level, proved his fighting skills in competitions, even founded his own MMA style ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeet_Kune_Do ). Seagal is considered a complete clown in large parts of the martial arts world and you can see his fitness discipline with one look at his belly.

Both were performers and have not faced a high level of competition. If bruce lee had access to the same level of coaching and training partners he may have been a force to be reckoned with though. As it stands he traînéd in bullshido and knows how to perform, not how to fight at the elite level.
