Have made? Sure. He had a suitable mentality for it.

Would he, with the skills he had, have done well in professional MMA in 2025? Absolutely not. He'd be smoked by people who's names the commentators haven't learned to pronounce yet.

In reality we're talking Tai Chi, useless, Wing Chun, good against someone with no training but arguably meh in a trained fight, and boxing. Boxing obviously hold up and Bruce Lee did win some smaller tournament in that.

So. Mentality, physicality, etc? Yeah, he'd have been solid if he got more practice. Who knows if he could make it, but he's good material.

Actual skill level back then? Not a chance. Maaaybe back in his own day, but today? Not a chance. Nada. Embarrassing. Just the simple fact he has no ground game makes him a pushover.

Having excellent aim with a nunchaku, on a recording of who knows how many tries, does not translate to being good in a MMA ring any more than being good at football translates to being good at Silat or other kick based fighting. It demonstrates physicality, which is great and enough to beat most non-pros.

What you have here is a loosely related show of skills that could id altered be applied. I am sure a football player could kick you really hard on the shin too. They're not exactly dominating modern MMA.
