Bruce Lee would through faster and stronger punches. This would be based on martial art punches are straight, and strength specifically released with a twist only at the end of a punch. Hook (boxer) punches have been tested weaker at impact. The angles a full arm pass to impact in a Hooked throw actually weaken the hit itself. These types of hits have been been pressure tested in the past. Weight equals slower punches and in multiples causes the person to burn energy far faster. Dwayne is probably stronger but Bruce Lee has technique. Technique can always beat strength. Martial arts has nothing to do with strength or even size. It has everything to do with technique.
BL would get MURDERED in weight lifting or a scrap. There's no 2 ways about it. We can fantasize all day about MMA. We have weight classes for a reason! Most kung fu is not practical in real world application. All serious professional fighters know this. This isn't even close!
Finally someone understands. Anyone who says Bruce could beat Dwayne in a fight clearly has never been in a fight. In Street fights the bigger stronger man will basically always win thats just how it is. Now if it’s a sparring match with minimal contact and using a point system obviously Bruce will win 100-0. But in terms of actual fighting with no rules obviously the behemoth of a man will win
@Birdlegs yep. i've certainly never lost a fight to someone smaller than me. Hits just kind of... aren't felt. I've taken on guys 2-3" taller than me and the reason i would win those fights was probably just sheer will and tenacity. i think mind games play into to. If you can get into someone's head and they lose heart that's another way. But that's not spontaneous and most fights kind of happen pretty fast with no lead up.
Dwayne is easily stronger no competition. One hit and well it's the end of Bruce, while Bruce is incredibly skilled and fast and strong in his own right , even he himself had admitted that he'd lose to people like Muhammad Ali. Dwayne is a lot bigger and stronger than Muhammad Ali.
Dwayne looks more massive but Bruce Lee's training was inhuman. I think I read somewhere that he could kick a bag of rocks six feet off the ground or something. Bruce Lee also incorporated speed in his workout which I don't think Dwayne does. I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce Lee bloodied Dwayne in a one on one fight. I like both them.
Dwayne Johnson is a bodybuilder and actor. Bruce Lee was a martial artist. Bruce Lee wasn't going for massive size he wanted the strength to improve his fighting skills. He was a far better fighter yes. But was not physically as strong as Dwayne Johnson.
One thing is I just recently watched a movie of the rock. he's gotten bigger in just 10 years or so. I saw a movie late night and Bruce Lee was the muscle of one group and swarsenagger was the muscle for the other. It was real early Arnold hadn't completely learned to speak English. Bruce and him got into it on the balcony of motel. Bruce flew up to kick and Arnold ducked and moved. Bruce went over the balcony and that was it
Depand how you see the "stronger". I will say Bruse Lee, more speed, more coordination. But when it come to brutan power The Rock is stronger. So in a fight Bruse Lee will 100% win in just some seconds.

Stronger like how? Weight lifting or punching power? Bruce Lee had a stronger punch. Force= mass x velocity. Think of it this way- Would you rather get hit by a dump truck going 25 miles per hour or a Ferrari going 200?

The Rock is physically stronger but Bruce Lee is way more skilled, and actually know legit fighting technique, while Dwayne basically just pretend to wrestle.
I wasn't saying Bruce might win, but Bruce Lee is known as the action movie hero for a big reason. That guy martial arts is seriously no joke he is so legendary so many creators create characters based off of Bruce Lee alone, I haven't seen not many characters based off on Dwayne Johnson.
Well there's a lot of reasons for it. When BL was coming up he was breaking the barrier of east and west before Eastern Media kind of sprouted here in the states. As such he was a huge inspiration for Anime writers and Video Game designers. so yeah you can find his inspiration in Tekken and DBZ for instance. But "which is stronger and why?" I think DJ would murder poor BL and handily to boot.
While I admit Dwayne Johnson has the physical advantage against Bruce Lee he still would have to escape most of Bruce Lee kicks. But I don't know who would win though it one of those hypothetical scenarios between two fighters.
140 lb man isn't dishing out anything a 240 lb man can't take. That's just how it is. I've been in enough scarps to know. there's a reason men and women dont enter the same boxing ring. That's more extreme but size and weight do matter. You'll never see a featherweight try to take on a heavyweight. Even with a multitude of strikes it's not going to phase a guy with such dense bone, muscle, and pain threshold like that. Now if you managed a lucky strike to the temple or kicked him in the balls or something like that you might win that way. Really if a big guy like that grabs ahold of you, you likely won't be able to even break free of his hold and then it's all over. He cuts the air supply with his hand, Lee goes down.
