Trending & News Not an ape at all. Simply a man in a losing athletic endeavor. Boxing causes brain damage from all those hits. Not sure he was ever smart, but all those hits certainly damaged his brain further.
It sounds true that all those hits damages the brain. But do you think that is what actually happened to Tyson and all other professional boxers?
All other professional boxers are not abusers/rapists. But when you're in a sport that supports beating up other people, and allows accidental killing of competitors, when you don't come from an emotionally supportive background, when your physically damaging skills are what make you money and what people dote upon, when education isn't valued, you tell me how that will affect your outlook?
The same thing has occurred repeatedly among football players. Another brutal sport allayed with "killer" instincts and actions.
