Will the USA ever win the soccer World Cup?

you mean the guys? I don't think so
the girls been there, done that... quite a few times
We got third place in the very first one and made it all the way to the Round of 8 in 2002 (I call it "Round of 8", because I can never remember which is semi and which is quarters). So yes, I think it will happened eventually.
What's so funny?
If you already know the answer, then why are you asking😂
We have to eventually, even if it's not in OUR life time
It's possible but Soccer isn't like Football 🏈 in the USA
Yes, but probably not very soon ⚽️
The talent pool and infrastructure are improving fast, especially with MLS growth, European transfers, and better youth development. Hosting in 2026 will boost interest and investment even more.
However, the U. S. still trails traditional powers in soccer culture, tactics, and elite-level experience. A realistic hope is becoming a true contender within a few decades, not a guaranteed champion.

It's important you refer to it as football. Americans must learn the correct word for it.
I don't think they should because it has never been a priority as a sport in the U. S., and never will be. The only reason it's made its way here now is because there's money to be made off of it from the rest of the world. Sports have been 100% about TV rights for the past 30 years. For the average American who enjoys sports, there's no reason to bring another one in for that reason only.
Probably not, soccer doesn't get the big funding over here like in Europe or South America. Americans don't give a hoot about soccer, so it doesn't get big ratings and big money from TV, cable, and Internet broadcasting
Not completely impossible, but they would have to make it a 25 year sport project.
They’re not that good like the USA women they are World Cup champions and Olympic champions
With which players? Is there any American player who plays in big clubs? I am really into football but I even don't know name of a one single American football player.
Probably not, the best athletes usually go to American football or basketball, the countries that dominate in futball that is their countrys number one sport
Not in my lifetime, and not in yours either.
But forever is a long time.
Probably not soon as soccer is far down the list of sports priorities in the USA.
Probably not. There's not enough money in them winning
Of course. If they make their own world cup with only American teams.
We have one already. It's called the Gold Cup😂
Doubtful considering almost no one in the US even cares about soccer to begin with.
We've won several women's world cups.
I dont think they will
Probably some year.
Probably not.
who cares.
No no.
Time will tell ⌚⏰
Probably not until the next Democrat leadership of the USA - I'd imagine Democrats would give more to soccer ⚽
@julie07 republicans would prioritise grid iron football 🏈 too much
But what would I know, I'm just a foreigner guessing lol 😆😆😆
