In the Americas, yeah. It’s basically only Argentina these days. Brazil has lost its spark. I’m going with Spain today just because Argentina already won it last time, and Spain has played well also I speak Spanish so why not. I was rooting for Argentina in 2022

Nah I just dislike some of their loud ass fans 😂 but I’ve seen plenty of cool Argentinians too. I do think that the anti-Argentina campaign on social media is blown way out of proportion. They can be annoying and mildly racist but they ain’t “nazis” like many people are saying. I do agree that the refereeing in their matches has been often questionable though (also in 2022 but way more now in my opinion), so that’s one of the reasons I’m going for Spain this time even though I still do think Messi is the best player in the world and the Argentinian national team IS talented.

Back in 2022 more than anything I wanted Messi to finally win a World Cup so I was supporting them as a Messi fan.

You made a comeback though and almost had them. That was a weird match though and I don't know what happened with Spain either. Everyone was saying France had the strongest team. I honestly expected another France-Argentina final.

I WANT Argentina to win, but if I'm completely honest, I think Spain will win. Because this German comedian is rooting for Argentina and every team he's rooted for has lost. 🤣
Also, there was one World Cup where West Germany was the most hated and controversial team and they made it to the final and then lost, so I feel Argentina's luck is about to run out, even though European teams usually don't win in the Americas. Also, Argentina lost a final to Germany in Brazil. And the fact that Spain only conceded 1 goal and had 0 losses is extremely concerning.

I grew up loving their style across sports: in tennis with Nadal, in football with that tiki-taka golden era, and their fierce competitiveness in every tournament.

USA struggles in big soccer tournaments, but Argentina is a fun backup choice too, especially with their passion and crazy atmospheres 🇦🇷🔥
