Truth be told, I'm still out of form, but recovering from Type 2 Diabetes nearly killing me earlier in life. I have always wanted to try my hand at real fighting, so the Promoter, Mr. Ancona, wanted me to fight a few Amateur fights to be sure I'm up to par.

My biggest weakness is my Roundhouse kicks are not up to par. I'd rate them D/D- honestly.

My hand striking is still A/A+

My Standing Guard should be up to the challenge at A/A+

I am very good at leg checking.

My Straight Front kicks should be A+, with my Front Thrust Kick being my best strike.

I fight "Switch" but it has been a very long time since I fought full contact, so I'm not sure how good my footwork is going to be. It used to be A+, but with age I think it has come down a bit.

The fight is scheduled and sanctioned by the Louisiana Boxing Commission for three three-minute rounds as usual and will take place August 12. I will be fighting in the Light Heavyweight Division, even though my natural weight should be one division below that.

Earlier today I was testing how many boards I could break cross-grain with a front thrust kick. I broke two simultaneously. I did not have enough boards to try 3. I was also able to break two oak bed posts using cross-heel stomp kicks, which in a cage fight I'd be targeting the opponent's thigh with this type of kick.

I broke 1 board cross-grain with a clinch into knee strike motion. I did this twice. If I hit another human that hard in the face It would probably seriously injure them.
