Dome or open stadium? Grass or artificial turf field for football 🏈?

Does the stadium play a part in the atmosphere and enjoyment of a football game? Personally for me I never liked domes or artificial turf so outside and on grass, add some pizza and wings and it's a great time! It just has an atmosphere and different vibe In my opinion. Not to mention statistics show grass is safer for the players there are less injuries. Then you have the weather that can affect the game players have to adjust to it, rain wind snow, Grass stains on the jerseys a guy getting tackled and his face mask gets chunks of sod stuck in it teammates got to help him get it out to me that is football. With domes the weather factor is eliminated , plus fans can't see the beautiful sky and jets and helicopters that fly over during the pregame and with artificial turf you don't get the other aspects. To me dome stadiums and artificial turf are like junk food the package may look pretty but too much of it makes you sick 🤢 Do you appreciate the old school way of football of outside and on grass? What are your thoughts?

Open and only grass.

Our main stadium has a fully retractable roof that can open or close depending the weather. Handy because it pisses down so much here

Yeah many team owners have catered and cuddled today's modern day soft Fairweather fans. I'm old school. There's something about fans and players alike braving the elements builds character and toughness and shows some true grit. Like a kicker attempting to field goal when there's wind he has to take that consideration and adjust his power and trajectory and when he still makes the kick with the wind that's impressive and you tip your hat more so than a guy that does it indoors under perfect ideal conditions, you know? That's Something that those climate controlled playpens don't offer but thanks for sharing what is that stadium's name?

Same here playing in the elements is one of the things that made me a fan those old photos of dick butkus sitting on the bench sweaty and bloody waiting to get back out there out for more, those days are gone if there was a dick butkus today knowbofy would even know how to deal with guys like that he would probably be banned and the super bowl won't be played in wisconsin , outside, in the winter anymore turf sucks in all sports
