Sittong around watching TV is way more immature. Especially junk shows.
Gaming has lots of benefits. I do it a lot when my time permits it. And I am nearly 30. So I am co sidered immature? XD
This is probably the most unpopular opinion I've ever heard of.
Not unless it’s ALL you do. If your job gives you hours of free time then go for it.
I'm not a fan of people sitting around watching TV for hours but I don't call them names lol
Having fun is always immature. I dont know a mature way to do it right.
It's a hobby, a fun way to pass time. I don't see how it would be immature.
I personally don't. I love it. But hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion 😊
Pretty much. There are certainly far more productive ways to spend ones time.
But, for some reason, sitting around for hours at a time watching ESPN is somehow more "mature?" Utterly deceptive twaddle-speak, says I.
No.
But it's a bias answer since I do play games when I'm not working and not with my girlfriend...
I'm safe I got 4 more years til I need to worry.
How'd you get a picture of my hands? I have that exact controller
I disagree. I think sitting and reading a book for hours is a stupid waste of time, so there!
I teach people how to make games; they're an important outlet for the stress of everyday life.
Gaming is for teenagers at school. It is not an adult pursuit.
Well no... As I want to be a game developer and taking steps to do be one I don't feel like it's immature if I'll earn on average 67500$ a year doing so...
In life, aren't you supposed to do what you like? I mean, as long as the person isn't letting video games get in the way of important things, Who cares?
This bloke gets life
Not necessarily. As long as gaming doesn’t interfere with the rest of your life, who cares?
And watching reality TV for hours in your 30's is not mature?
Gaming is releasing stress and filling my soul with happiness and energy so i don't think it is, also max i game in a day is 1 or 2 hours
No. Not if you're busy doing other things most of time, and this is how you come to enjoy your leisurely fun.
Not immature so much as just a waste of time. You can't dislike someone for having a certain hobby, but it's a question of degree.
Playing video games is good for relaxation. I do it often when I come back from work!! It's actually very good!!!
Your life must be boring as hell then. I game to escape reality for the time being. Work and paying bills is not fun, but gaming is always there for me.
Majority of girls think it's immature. Which means majority of girls are really no fun. It's probably a US sisterhood thing or something.
Nah, some people who really love games, go on to making or designing games. Others test out games before there released.
The way you described it as an obsession or vice. Yes it is. Unless it is your passion / career... you are literally wafflestomping time / life down the drain
No, it can become immature, like if it takes over your life. Its just a passtime. I play games with a good story, like they're an interactive movie. Are movies immature?
What would be mature activities that 30 year old should do?
Knitting and putting hot pies on the windowsill to cool, apparently.
If it is all day, yeah. If it is in your spare time, no
No it's not. If all u do is game then it's not immature but a waste of time.
No i don't find it immature but it all depends on how much time
one spends gaming.
Just let me finish this mission and I will answer...
Loll
As long as they have a life it isn't but if all they do is playing games then yes
I game and im 25 this stigma comes from 12 year olds playing COD
Even at my age, I play games if it's immature, then I am immature for life.
Damn right
I just asked a similar question. I think its unhealthy. Also it can be an addiction that stops one from living their best life.
Well actually (if in moderation of cause just like anything else) gaming is proven to have stress relieving propperties and it even can train your hand eye coordination. of cause if you do nothing else then it looses these propperties. and to the addiction part... everything can make addicted. some are more in risk to catch an addiction some are not at all.
Ysah i guess so. I ain't giving up playing shooter games anytime soon :D
Heh have fun then. for example shooter games are a great example for games that train your reactions and hand eye coordination because you need to react fast and aim well to overpower your enemies.
I play for like 2 hours on the weekend. I don't see what's immature about it as long as you're not doing it all day
Even still, all day every now and again isn't going to cause a problem. All day everyday probably would. It's better than shopping for example, in my opinion, because there's a limit to how many games and DLCs are released. Plus, it's a lot more interesting than browsing all day
Yeah, I guess I'm getting old lol I get bored of games really quickly, the last game I played for 8+ hours straight was Witcher 3 in it's first week
I don't see how playing video games is any less immature than watching netflix, going partying etc.
Completely.
Yes it is immature. When your a kid it's fine, when an adult no. Go out and have fun and enjoy being social and seeing different things
but people are awful...
Suck it up buttercup
You do know you can talk to people while playing video games. It is one huge community so when you say go out and be social that is being social. You are connecting with people who have similar interests with you and you share a connection by doing the things you like. Just like how people like to go to a bar and have fun, people like to sit on their couch for a couple of hours and connect with people online.
I guess you and I have different interpretations of being social. Being online while talking to someone is still lonely socializing. Means your not in physical contact , just looking at a computer screen talking to some random person. Then that is also why online is not always a good thing either
But it isn't always just random people. I could play videogames with my friends. And even going out you are still talking with random people most of the time anyway. Just because it is a screen and a microphone separating people doesn't mean you can't have a connection with them. I have had many instances where I thought exactly what you were thinking, how these people can be really bad or whatever. But once you start talking to to them, you realize they are normal people like you and I who just want to relax and have a little fun playing some games. You might not see them physically but you can still create a bond with someone. And I also might add that being at a bar or a club or a mall, you are surrounded by people you will probably never get to know. You might talk to them or whatever but you never know someone's true intentions either it being face to face or through a game chat. So either way it is still a gamble and both ways are great ways to meet new people.
I concur
Yes, it's immature. But who says people in their 30s have to be mature every second of their remaining life?
No gaming is life!!! I can see myself in my 70’s playing grand theft auto IX.💯🎮
No but u can't have a life and be a blood thirsty gamer,
And I learned that the hard way.
It's an effective stress buster... And makes you feel young...
HELL NO HAVE YOU SEEN THE GAMING CHANNELS ON YOUTUBE? THE GET THE VEIWS MAN
you know what lady fuck you my uncle is like 60 and he still play games my cousin is like in his mid twenties and he play games. in my opionion gaming is cool, and it actually lets you use your brain you don't know anything because your a girly girly i fucking hate girly girls
Its a passion just like playing piano or singing theor all equal waste of time unless their your profession
Nope not at all.
Gaming is good for your brain, reduces stress and can be very social. Sounds like a fantastic hobby to me.
It all depends on what your perspective of gaming is it's just technology and it makes us happy. They also have many daily beneficial quality like reflex improvement
Swiftly this web site can unquestionably become popular between almost all blogging and site-building folks, due to its meticulous posts or perhaps critiques. Watch My Cousin Rachel
I had an ex was to busy with video games got to point he wouldn’t shower just play video I lost interest I cheated emotionally with another boy.
Ok, this is bad when it goes that far...
No, I think it's as good of a hobby as any.
Nopes, that make increases your reasoning ability and also teaches you to be on your toes.
Cross out make from the sentence
I stopped playing when I was around 21. I just have more productive ways to spend my time and just feel like a loser now if I'm playing. I don't think it's that bad tho
If you sit and play wow for 18 hours a day yes. But to get out of your head for a while no.
Nope there are people who are rich by playing video games. Look at the optic gaming clan
would you prefer sitting around on their cell phones or watching tv?
Depends. Do you let it control your life or not? If not, then all is fine, no?
you just called Japan immature 😁
Hahah
Japanese men can't have fun with there wives since they are banging big American wieners so they have to resort to video games lmaoo
you're totally wrong about that size stereotypes dude 😁
I don't know the studies theyve done say otherwise
if you check the map, you can see that more people have average size in asia 🌏 but that's all. actually in jp the common size is bigger than in other part of asia. (according to the map 😅)
Why would all the research studies online be a lie?
www.google.hu/search
www.targetmap.com/.../3073_THUMB_IPAD.jpg
According to that map Japan is in pink/yellow indicating average/below average. 😂😂😂
Why are you are defending Japan people weiner size so badly? It's so weird. you must be dating a Japanese kid or something 😂😂😂😂
still can't say that's the smallest 😁
yep my man is japanese, he's above avg.
i was only telling you what i see in that map. there was a topic about it earlier here xD
he'll be happy that you called him kid when he's +1year to me, tall n sporty 😂
Lol it's funny how you did research on japan people average penis size even before this 😂😂
no, wasn't me 😂 i just seen the topic. it's interesting but in reality the person matters not the sizes
Yea girls that till they feel my dick. I'm 8" lol how would u know size doesn't matter if u have never felt one as big as mine inside u?
i had a boyfriend with that size. it was simple too big for some position to be totally comfortable.
here's my reply to those who think the bigger the better 😂
That's not what girls tell me
everyone is different, you know 😂😁
When you have free time or it's your hobby no not really. When you're supposed to be doing something else then yeah.
I'd rather be gaming than having to talk to some dumbasses out there.
I'll probably be immature all my life if this is the case lol
It sure is if you are doing it all day. On your spare time it's fine to have fun.
