What invention doesn’t get a lot of love, but has greatly improved the world?

The gardening plow...
Where would agriculture and the world's food
supply look like without it. The making the grounds fertile for massive crops of vegetables and fruits alike. Even wheat, which
we produce bread from and the veggies that
feed the livestock of cattle, goats, chickens etc.
The plow gets no love for going all in.
Air conditioning, automatic transmission cars, email, shower gels, dictionary (although a lot of that has been substituted by google).

pencils, pens, and ink
without them, we'd have to write with our bodily fluids 🤢
the simplest of all maybe, a cigarette lighter
The plastic straw lol
I'm dissapointed in you @COMMODOREII, the plastic straw is a very wasteful thing
@lanadelrey25 yes but very useful. Lol
Sure, but it doesn't need any love
@lanadelrey25 yeah it does. It has helped many handicapped people able to consume their drinks and even their food at times.
A rubber straw or metal is better, reusable
@lanadelrey25 dangerous for those who have trouble eating.
To bad for them
@lanadelrey25 im not going to give credit to those who don't want to put into the effort of recycle plastic straws which are recyclable. There are ways to do it but they give excuses like its too costly or some other bullshit. You caused the problem then you fix it.
