Facebook is the "National Enquirer of the Insignificant." Twitter, at 280 characters does not express thoughts - just thought fragments. In any case, updating Henry L. Stimson's famous remark, "Gentlemen do not 'tweet.'"
Indeed, one wonders that any grown adult wants to be heard uttering the words, "I 'tweeted' my opinion. No doubt a "tweet" is what it was - something that would be impressive, perhaps, in a baby bird but not an allegedly sentient human being.
As to "snapchat," I would not know it if it came up and hit me in the head. I have never gazed upon it and it is my hearty wish to leave this mortal veil of sorrows never having seen it. My hunch being that "snapchat" is nothing more than another exercise in vapid narcissism.
So, as you can tell, I do not have strong opinions on this subject. Suffice to say I could not be bothered to "watch" the Instagram of those I know - though I would be quick to disassociate myself from them if I discovered that anyone I knew was "snapchating" or "instagramming" or whatever it is that they now call such empty prattle.
I have insta but i use it maybe every 8 months to just look at it and logout lmao. Snap don't have at all. These places are mostly used by people i won't get along with, because i don't see the point in caring about story's or whatever else. Like jeez got anything better to do than post pointless videos of you went outside today, great amazing have a gold medal.
No, I literally never watch stories on any social media platform. If I clicked on it that was most likely a mistake and went back right away. I don't really care what Karen ate for brunch today (and most likely didn't tip her server). And I don't really have any interest in the fact that Matt found an aesthetic angle of some skyscraper near his apartment and wanted to slap 30 hashtags to his story. And I seriously DON'T CARE about how Emily just got into the millionth fight with her boyfriend and broke up with an update 3 hours later saying they're madly in love again. . . So no, I never watch them.
Don't have insta. I do have Sc though, and usually the only time I watch the stories, is when I'm passing time.

Read my answer as: once in a red or blue moon I MIGHT see Instagram of close friends... But that is it.
I don't have the patience for it. Despite being an amateur, college-trained, photographer.
But that is me. I make no pretenses of Universality, in the very least. I know some part-time Photographers that went full-time by little more than automating sending all their final pictures to Instagram, so it must be doing something right, wouldn't you say so?
I have Instagram. I follow a handful of friends, National Geographic and a couple of Christian organisations that do charity work I support. That's all.
I've considered shutting down my social media accounts everywhere, and honestly if I wasn't ten thousand miles from most of my closest friends emotionally I would have done years ago.
I watch everything because I don't have that many freinds.
I message or communicate in person with my freinds and we aren't on social media that much and I'm glad as it's a lot healthyer.
I find social media to be quite unhealthy as a lot of people post everything they did on the weekend so you already know everything so you can't really talk about much.
I never post on social media I just look at it.
On snap, I only watch my close friends stories or a couple of people I went to high school with. I don’t know the rest of the people I have on snap and haven’t had the chance to go through and clear my friends list, so I’m not really interested in their stories.
and on Instagram, I’ll watch celebrities or influencers stories but i don’t use the feature that much
I know exactly why you are asking this... and let me just be honest. No. I only watch (and pay attention to who watches mind) when i care for people, or have some degree of intrigue into someone else’s life. Some days im busy and don’t even bother with social media- with the exception of the people close to me (or people im totally crushing on)
No I think stories are stupid. I use my instagram to post some pictures sometimes when I see something nice but stories are pretty lame.
I don't use snapchat, I do use Instagram when posting pictures of food I cook, my tattoos everytime I get one (not often), I do follow some friends and some Korean celebs and metal bands but aside from that I don't really use it and I also don't view the stories.
If the day arrives that I have enough time or interest to follow someone's life on social media, just fucking shoot me.

I plow through the Instagram list at times to see if there is anything noteworthy. I try to limit my followings to people who post interestingly. But oftenmost I only look at one or two of them.
I don't use instagram anymore like most of my friends. Other social media in very limited extent.
I love to check on people I care about with out the conversation sometimes , but also I stay away from the people promoting the wrong things as well.
I don’t user those sorry. my mom invited me to her wechat stuff and I’ll watch some of those but not the majority cause it takes too much time.
Only the people that I care about like my boyfriend and best friends and my mom and brothers. I am not really interested in watching what other people post in their stories
No, just few selected ones. I sometimes miss out on them too. I don't care too much tbh.
Once I had fb never did I have Snapchat and insts I am telling you if you come out of that social experience you will feel very light hearted
