It's not as easy as people might think. Getting online in general back in the 1980s wasn't easy. Just getting on the internet meant you had some modicum of intelligence. When AOL flooded the mass market with CD Roms that gave people 30 days free access, they also made it trivially simple to get online. And the internet was never the same. The great unwashed ignorant masses descended, and quickly demanded that everything be made as simple as turning on the television.

These days, most anyone can use a computer and getting online is automatic.

On the other hand, most people can't even tell you the difference between the Deep Web and the Dark Web.

The "dark web," is part of the greater "deep web," a network of secret websites that exist on an encrypted network.

Basically, you can set your website/webpage to be ignored by search engines like Google. You can also have vast intranets (like the one in IBM) which are hidden behind firewalls. (Accessible to employees of IBM, but not to the public). Any network like that, which is invisible to search engines, compromises this "deep web". All clear? So far so good.

The "dark" net (or web) is a tiny part of the deep net. It's encrypted. It doesn't stay in the same place. Websites are not hosted at a specific IP address, which is known to DNS servers and where police can link it to an owner and an address. The Dark Web is always on the move. Instead of having IP addresses, it has onion like layers, where packeted data is passed from host to host, with the only layer being visible to a host is where to send it next, and only the intended recipient can read the innermost layer.

Because of that, it's most often used for illegal activities such as black markets, selling drugs, weapons, planning crimes, kidnapping, assault, murder-for-hire, stolen credit card info, stolen medical info, and that most infamous of all crimes which land on the FBI's desk - illegal file sharing. And child porn, obviously.

The need to protect buyer and seller on the dark net, was one of the things that led to the creation of cryptocurrencies.

The dark net is occasionally used for noble reasons by Internet users who need to operate anonymously. Journalists seeking to interview citizens of repressive countries where communications are monitored might use the dark net. The dark net can facilitate whistleblowing and news leaks, act as a tool to allow individuals to circumvent censorship networks, and can be used as a means of protecting political dissidents from reprisal.

Most dark net websites use the Tor encryption tool to help hide their identity.

Tor allows individuals to hide their location, appearing as if they are in a different country. Tor-encrypted networks require that individuals use Tor in order to visit them.

When individuals use Tor, their IP addresses and other identifying information is similarly encrypted. It is not difficult for an individual to access the dark net as long as they have the proper encryption tools. But it can be hard to determine who created certain websites on the dark net, and if you've participated in the dark net and your identity is revealed, it can be dangerous.

The Tor encryption tool uses many layers of encryption and anonymizes all traffic by routing it through a dense network of secure relays. Tor software is not illegal but the way that it is used can be illegal.

Tor is not always used to access dark net services.

Tor estimates only roughly 3.4% of its traffic is used for dark net services; the remainder can be accounted for by individuals accessing regular Internet sites with an increased level of security and anonymity.

But, and I can't stress this enough... if you were not the sort of person who knew how to get online pre-AOL, if you've never patched a binary file, if you've no idea what a DNS server is or why it's important, you're probably not ready to tackle the dark web.

And remember - you can't just go to the dark equivalent of Google. com and search for what you're looking for. The Dark Web is not indexed. You need to know where you're going and what you're doing when you get there.

Use tor and then I'd recommend you first go to stormfront and read up, then there are two ways you either go through a tpb proxy or you make a false proxy in phyton to bypass a lot of checks and then I'd recommend you research and know what you want to see before going anywhere, won't recommend using you credit card to buy things use escrow or if you bitcoin then use that.

Tor browser is the most commonly used software to get access to the dark web. But even though you're completely anonymous on the network, your ISP can still see that you're using the app-use a VPN if you don't want that to be recorded. Plus there's a (pretty infamous) directory called "The Hidden Wiki" that can provide you with such links, but I guess many are either non-functional, some are even illegal. Overall, browse at your own risk; and use a good security system to keep threats away.
