I remember being in a Little Caesars a few years ago and seeing the display of an error message on their monitor screen. I had seen pictures of the "Windows is a service" message online, but I'd assumed they were jokes; I was astounded to see that no, it was apparently quite real. Despite a Supreme Court ruling saying that no, you can't do that, Microsoft apparently felt it was just fine. It made me very, VERY glad I'd decided to stick with 7 until it became untenable, then hop on the Linux train.

I don't really care all that much to be honest. Of course when they decide to sabotage all systems running windows 10 to try and coerce people into upgrading, it'll be a different story.

No, every version they come out with is worse than the previous. The best version was 7. It's been down hill since.

  From what I've seen its more of an interface change think vista to windows 7 type changes. There are youtube videos of a leaked ISO if you have interest in seeing more :)

  It appears that it will be free, as people have been able to upgrade existing systems while keeping their files with the leaked ISO and have been able to activate it with widows 8 Keys.
