If you click on a randoms Instagram profile picture and their story shows up and u quickly click out, can they see u viewed their story?

When you type in someone's name and you click on their picture instead of the name and a story shows up. Can they see that you viewed their story?

Well as far as I am aware, once you click on it they can regardless of whether or not you quickly click out of it. But I could be wrong so don’t trust me fully.
Hopefully someone else knows 100% and can answer it properly for you.

I did learn a smart little trick if you do wanna stalk their stories lol.

If you see their story on instagram (like the little circles on the top of your timeline/feed page), click on the story next to theirs, specifically the one after theirs, hold down, slide right and you should be able to see what they posted. OR, if the profile is public, you could google “anonigviewer. com” and search their username, click on it, it takes a while to load but you can view their recent stories, and their posts. I hope that helps.
