If I view someone's page and watch their reels on Instagram will I pop up first on their story list whenever I post a story?

They follow me I don't follow them but I do go to their page and watch their reels. I know they can't see that I've watched their reels but will they know that I visit their page and reels from where I appear in their story list?

I don’t think so to say for sure, but it's unlikely that someone will know that you've visited their page and watched their reels just from where you appear in their story list. The story list is based on a number of factors, including who you interact with the most and who you follow. So, if you're not following the person and you don't interact with them very often, it's unlikely that you'll appear first in their story list.

For 24 hr stories your name will pop up towards the bottom since your not following them regardless how much you view their acc. But they probably already know you’re creeping if you’re going out of your way to watch stories while not following them?
