Anyone else tired of this Captcha BS?

I don't know who is selling it as a security measure, but it's a pain in the ass and doesn't work right half the time. I see GaG uses it now. Last night on another site I spent about 10 minutes before I was able to get on.

The pictures are often unclear, or an image is split between different squares, or it asks for something like a bus and in one of the pictures there is one barely visible in the distance.

Then stop doing them. Keep it up enough, with enough people, and companies will take notice. If that's too much to ask, just do the auditory ones. They tend to be MUCH easier.

I also know people who are blind, have poor eye site, or poor at English so I hate the captcha too

Not so much the captchas themselves annoy me, but why the actual fuck can't the site set a session cookie correctly and keep me logged in for more than about 12 hours? The "remember me" setting is completely useless.
