My friend thinks my laptop isn't super powerful which is the hp stream 14 with windows 10 S and he thinks I should look up one of the e ones?

rxt graphics chip and they cost like 2000-1000 bucks should I not buy it

A lot of people are compute snobs, especially gamers. They think that anything that's not very high end is a toaster.

I'm on the opposite end and think a 10-15 year old computer should be good enough for the large majority of people. At one time we had to wait on computers, but that is long past. Now computers wait on us. They are so blazing fast that they don't have anything to do most of the time while they wait for us slow humans to tell them to do something. Even some intensive applications only use a portion of the computer power.

Except for some games, the built in video should be more than enough.

I just checked my computer. CPU usage is bouncing between 0-1% (with Skyrim running in the background)

Nice I have Skyrim for Xbox 360 lol and it's not a bad game to play also my HP stream 14 is blazing fast most of the time

I started playing Skyrim on my last computer. It was pretty sluggish even with all setting at minimum. The one I have now is not a speed demon, but it runs Skyrim just fine at max settings. I probably won't be able to play the next Elder Scrolls.
