Why would someone bully or troll others online, and then block them?

I get why trolls troll, but why do some trolls or cyber bullies antagonise people, and then when the people reply (nicely) to their comments, they act as though they are the victim and block the person they harassed?

Is there a particular reason for this? Psychologists?

I've seen these types too, even on here. They can dish it but they can't take it. They don't want to feel bad about themselves (hence the trolling to feel better), so they block before the other person can defend themselves. It's the equivalent of someone sticking their fingers in their ears in the middle of an argument (provided it's a civil one). They want to get the last word in to feel better about themselves and avoid shame.

A very cowardly move if you ask me.

People like that usually aren't trolling.

They really believe their rants, and are actually angry that you disagree.

Does it matter? If they blocked you they did you a favor. Block them and go on about your life.
