When you get into an argument on the internet do people block you?

I don't really look for arguments online. But GaG is a very special microcosm with its own chaos and a very vivid fauna & flora. Which is a very polite way to describe this place. Sometimes I'm really looking for an argument here lol, sometimes just a little, sometimes not even but it may happen still. I'm regularly blocked and I'm regularly blocking. But it's rarely because there was an argument. It's much more a matter of discourse used, there are many people I block solely based on their views, and I expect being blocked because of my views as well

Yeah, it's happened to me more than a few times.. The worst thing is when they have the last word, and use ad hominems and then block you..

If people can't handle that other people have other beliefs they are not worth seeing. So quite happy when they coward off.

People I've never interacted with have blocked me. I'm guessing only because they didn't like opinions I've left.
