Would you prefer Samsung to reinstall an sd card slot for their new models?

So I definitely prefer SD storage. Its much cheaper (cloud storage gets much more expensive while paying per month), it doesn't require internet (cloud requires connection and will eat away mobile data), its faster with large files (clouds are slow with large 4k vids)

I don't know why so many people don't understand this, but: there IS no "cloud". It's just stored on someone else's computer. My CPAP machine has an SD card slot, where it keeps the SD card that stores the machine's use data (among other things), and every time I had to go in for a DOT physical, they'd ask to see my CPAP data, and I'd pull out the card and ask where their reader was. After the first time, when I was told they didn't have one, and that my data would just "be sent wirelessly back to your provider", I brought an SD card reader with me, then a computer to USE the reader with, and then the CPAP machine itself, because openly broadcasting unencrypted medical data is a GROTESQUE privacy violation.

The more of this nonsense you tolerate, the worse it's going to get.

No. SD storage is much SLOWER than either Cloud or internal and more prone to faults and internal water damage.

One reason you can get waterproof phones now, is the removal of the external SD slot.

Personally, I would prefer Samsung invest more in external WiFI Direct or Bluetooth storage devices instead. They already have a large share of the storage devices market and it would enable them to get one over Apple to capitalise on external mobile storage.
