How far has asking questions on sites such as this, Reddit and Quora gotten you as far as advice?

I feel like I draft whole friggin' essays for folks to not even react to them; I've also got an inbox full of "thank you's".

I give much but I seek almost none.

It's better than the advice I'm getting from family. Which is still helpful but as someone who's trying to go beyond that what anyone has done in my family... the folks off of this site can be helpful
