Has anyone Iphone ever went completely black?

after the recent update, my iphone went completely black. I had left it on the charger overnight and now its completely black. it won't even turn on after so many force restart tries. I only see an arrow on my iphone so what is this? it would only vibrate like its coming on but it won't start at all. has this ever happened to anyone before?

How old is the phone?
I find iPhones only last a few years before they shit the bed. I think Apple even admitted that they purposely make older iPhones glitch with updates so you’re forced to buy a new one.

One of my older iPhones just completely stopped charging. It would be at 100% one second and then shoot immediately down to 0%.

Take it to the Apple Store (or really any place that fixes phones) and have them look at it for you. It might just be a screen issue. If that’s the case then it should be a cheap and easy fix.
