Why aren't you allowed to edit or delete questions here? What do you do if you make a mistake?

Oh baby, all me understand is you can delete questions on this site only after 24 and beg admins to edit something. But me can tell you that if me make a mistake, me just move on and hump something else. Me no need to dwell on my mistakes when there are so many other things to penetrate. Maybe this site should be more like me and just let things go. Me no like rules or restrictions, me just like to pound and stretch and make everything feel good. So let's forget about editing and deleting and get back to fucking, baby.

There have been questions where I do type a lot. I either misspell a word or forgot a word and then when I go back to that question later on it aggravates me that I can’t edit my comment

This subject has come up and been suggested several times. For now, the only thing we can really do is slow down and proofread our questions and comments before sending them. A lot of times GAG's autocorrect and/or predictive text features change things we may not catch as we're writing.

Welcome to Gag Town and Best of Luck. I have been HERE for 9 Years and I think We can mainly Push a button on a Reply from Someone "I don't Want to Se this." Not sure Why no Edit or Delete. I thought a Question of OUR OWN after a Certain Amount of Days? xxlolxx

What does the "I don't want to see this" option do? Does it delete the comment or just hide it from you?

It deletes it. But we can't delete our own.

I get why you can't edit them cause that could lead to people changing their questions to be completely different and all and that's why you can update questions, to prevent that problem
MEANWHILE I do not in the slightest get why you can't delete them

Well they could give you like a 10 minute window to fix typos or whatever

Trolls would abuse even a window. Any opinions given in ten minutes (which can be a lot in some cases) would be rendered irrelevant.

There are other solutions to this problem but none that admin has taken interest in.

On similarworlds you can both delete your questions and replies, and also edit both of them.

You can delete. You have to do it before 3 days. Also it takes a day to enable deleting. You can't select MHO if you want to delete your question.

Unless they changed things, you should be able to edit questions you've asked. But I have no idea why we can't edit either.
