My parents either did not buy cable or bought only the minimum cable options so my tv doesn't have anything worth watching on cable other than the news stations. I also prefer YouTube to Netflix cause I get sick of the same old story lines, since they contain drama and I do not want drama when I looking to focus and rest from my day. I think our digital media has replaced the traditional three course meal style of entertainment to the buffet style, where there is no longer a rising and falling action, no climax, no antagonist and protagonist, no conflict and conflict resolution. There is just free for all exploration and options.

Definitely not TV... I only watch it for sports and the news... Other than that I think TV is almost extinct...
