Your ship can travel at Warp 2 Star Trek scale, which is 8 times the speed of light.

Pad to Pad Teleportation

You don't yet have site to site teleportation.

Multi-Phasic Shields

Your ship can survive inside the atmosphere of a Sun-like star and repel most energy and torpedo attacks pretty reliably.

Lightsaber

Works like Luke's lightsaber with a fusion power supply sufficient to make it work.

Cold Fusion

It uses "Heavy Electron Capture" which is verified by NASA to produce net energy. We just don't yet know how to get a very big gain to do anything useful. IN the future, NASA or somebody may discover this secret.

Random Evasive Teleportation

Your ship can teleport a few miles randomly in any direction in order to avoid missiles and sub-luminal attacks.

Ethereal Torpedoes

Your torpedoes ignore most enemy shields and armor, exploding deep inside the enemy vessel. This even penetrates most species' planetary shields. The drawback is each weapon is twice as expensive as normal torpedoes.

All of these technologies are theoretically possible in the real world. We just need some Einstein level Scientist or Engineer to design the schematic.

pad teleport. about warp 2, i guess you saw the chart in series enterprise? but sources in next generation and star trek indicate different speeds.

I'll take the warp drive. I like the idea of having that much speed because I can go places that I couldn't otherwise go.

Yeah, but what if you run into Janeway and her Trans-phasic torpedoes, or someone who's invented my Ethereal Torpedoes?

Don't worry, some sort of plasma shield will be possible perhaps in our lifetimes, while something like Trans-phasic or Ethereal Torpedoes would require higher dimensional travel to be possible.

So Shielding is much more likely to be invented before torpedoes that ridiculously powerful.
