Why do men always outnumber women on social media?

I thought women were the more “social” sex? But on here Reddit Instagram you name it there are more men than women commenting and making posts. Why? If I don’t ask a question directly towards women there will always be more guy comments.

Because guys are logical so we see a question and we see we can answer it we do. Women have to feel the question and therefore if they don't feel it they don't answer it. And yes women are far more social than men on an average scale. A woman says hundreds if not thousands of more words than men. Sure 80% of those words are useless and a waste of time but they still say them. You ever ask a guy a question regarding something? You get maybe 20 words. You ask a woman the same thing and she'll prattle on for over an hour.

Actually, now that I thought about, I don't know if that is true. If driving somewhere, are not men less likely to stop and ask someone for directions.

As for the original question. I am not certain that is true either. On dating sites, I understand that men greatly outnumber women. However, women may outnumber men on sites like Facebook and Instagram.
