Both are nothing much.

As the old adage goes, "a computer may beat me at chess, but never at kickboxing".

We are nowhere close to AGI and the fear in AI is undeserved. As for neuralink, it smells like Theranos to be fair.

While yes less plastic controllers and less hardware is a good thing as you can allegedly control everything "by thought". But opening it to others isn't something Elon will do as it's not profitable.

You only need look at Apple to see how being a greedy, exclusive bastard can make you rich, but stifle competition.

Really worrying, if you try an LLM with morals and ethics turned disabled you can see how concerning things can be. Now push things on a year or so, you start ticking the terrifying box. Asking the likes of ChatGPT how it would destroy humanity is a tad eye opening, then add in as @Jessica405 says quantum computing. Is there little wonder there is such a drive to get into space quickly?
