One example, I had to look at something on Lennon Stella's page, and I had to scroll FOREVER to get to her early posts. There's no easy way to just go there. No "go to end" button or "search for date" or anything like that. If I had wanted to do it again 10 minutes later, I would have had to go through that same scrolling.

Another example, if you do too many things, like too many posts, follow too many people, unfollow too many people, LOOK at too many posts, they shadow ban you, or slow you down, or put an action block on your account, or any number of things, all without telling you that's what they're doing.

And it's not if you do a million things, or a thousand, or even a hundred. If you do 20 or 30 things, clicks, likes, whatever, they'll try to stop you.

Why does Instagram intentionally make things so difficult for users?

I understand they want to get rid of spammers and bots, which they'll never do anyway, but 20 or 30 likes or follows or looks does not make you a spammer, not even close. It just makes you a normal user. I don't have time to click a few things, come back a few hours later and click a few more things, I just want to see what I want to see in 20 or 30 minutes and then move on. But you can't because they slow you down.

What do they get out of making things difficult for their everyday users?

I've had my Instagram account for 7 years. I've got thousands of followers. I have a blue check mark. Yet they still hassle me over the smallest things.
