Why people say Instagram standards are not realistic?

Guys (well, smart guys, anyway) don't evaluate or rate women based on what they look like in an Instagram photo, with makeup, hair dos, camera angles, filters, etc. etc. Instead, they rate women based on what they look like fresh out of the shower, no makeup, wet hair, no shapewear, no padding, no filters or Photoshop, etc.

We also know how easy it is to fake "lifestyles" on Instagram, so most of us don't buy any of that either. We can tell the difference between a candid snapshot and a posed, filtered, strategically placed picture.

This is another reason why guys find women who are out with no makeup, no hair done, wearing an old T-shirt and sweatpants so attractive - we know we're looking at the real deal, and not some makeup & hair "creation" that's going to melt away in the shower.

Women LOVE the lies, and so they rank themselves and each other based on their BEST day, with their BEST hairdo and makeup, with filters on, with padding and shapewear and weird camera angles and everything else. Now, imagine we take all that away and they're standing in a line, fresh out of the shower, in a swimsuit (bikini or one-piece) - how much do you think that would affect the ranking of most of those Instagram girls? Because that's how men see the world.

It's the insta porn models and really these girls do look so different when not in poses that show off Thier body! Holding Thier tummy's in for the camera.

Really it's loser guys who drool o er insta models which give them a fake standard!

People say the standards aren't realistic on Instagram because 99% of the women on Instagram are covered in either makeup, filters or both or are using photoshopped pictures, etc, none of that is realistic.
