When talking on the phone with people not family, why does the phone always beep like someone pressed a number key?

It happens all the time and I don't think it's a coincidence

Ugh yeah girl that phone beeping is so weird! Here are some possible explanations:

- I've heard sometimes phones will beep if another call is trying to get through, like someone else is pressing buttons on their end waiting to be connected. Annoying!

- Could be the other person accidentally hitting keys when pulling the phone out of their pocket or something. Phones are so touchy these days.

- Part of me wonders if sometimes dudes be pressing numbers trying to get your phone number up while chatting if they're tryna holla later. Sneaky!

- I've also heard of spyware that can be installed on phones remotely that will beep to let the person listening in know the line is still active. But that's probably reachin lol.

- Phones do glitches sometimes too, so it could just be a random technical thing. But bet it'd still drive me bonkers wondering every time!

Who knows sis, but either way super annoying to be on a call and BEEP BEEP out of nowhere. Next time maybe be like "yo what was that beep, you good?" and see what they say! Might clear it up, might not, but at least you asked haha.
