No, I'm really in favor of minimal abstraction of value. Fiat money already bugs me that way given how divorced it is from something of actual value. Yet I don't see it as an upgrade to place my faith in bits and bytes stored on a server as with the case of NFTs and cryptocurrency. If I wanted to invest in such a thing, I'd prefer to invest in something like gold.
Actually I don't even like charging money for our software even though it's how I make a living. It made more sense to me when we packed them in boxes combined with beautiful printed instruction manuals, floppy disks and later CDs, DVDs, yet now customers are paying to download information which costs a trifle sum (and none for the publisher) to transfer.

Between this and your love of crunch time, If I ever stop being a one man dev team, I'd hire you or make you a business partner, I have the same mentality about that stuff.
I hate the direction everything is going, I miss going to a store, buying software/games in fancy boxes, getting manuals that make tech support pointless, and having a physical media item that didn't require the internet to work, didn't need to be patched, and ran on hardware that lasted decades while being tossed around and dropped by children.
No. Too bad. I'm too broke.
If I keep making profits and can withdraw those, i'll consider buying some cheap but prospectful crypto coins like Cardano, Ripple or Neo and flip between them something I don't have drops in value significantly. Or buy BTC when it's down to 26K again sometime in the future.
Nothing like money multiplying itself rather than losing value over the years due to inflation and the governments printing money.
definitely speculative, not investing. warren buffet approach very different... buy proven value and use compound interest to get rich. the problem with speculative is overcoming the losses... very hard to to consistently.
Yeah but the problem with that is that Warren Buffet's old enough for the grave and I don't have patience. I want to choose the fast lane to get rich. I'm trading contracts to make it happen. I have yet to withdraw any money. It isn't paper trading.
Once I get some big profits and withdraw these, I can simply buy shares of relatively cheap stocks with dividend yields to secure myself.

No, its a worthless currency because it can't exist without the help of technology.
