Is Snapchat Plus worth its money?

I still use Snapchat and planning to buy the plus version for 3 USD, is it worth it? What do you think? Is it worth the hype?

Snapchat Plus is interesting because it kind of feels like it's targeting the super users of Snapchat – the folks who are on it all the time and love getting those little extra features that make them feel a bit more exclusive.

From what I've seen and heard, the perks include things like seeing who rewatched your story, exclusive badges, and the ability to pin a friend as your #1 BFF, among other features.

It depends on how much you use the app. If you're someone who's constantly on the app and you love having those little extras that make your experience feel more personalized or premium, then yeah, Snapchat Plus could totally be worth the investment for you.

On the flip side, if you're more of a casual user or you're someone who doesn't care much about badges and seeing who's rewatching your stories, then it might not be worth the extra money each month.

Personally, I always recommend checking out what current users of the service are saying, too. They'll give you the real deal on whether those features are as cool as they sound or if they're just nice-to-haves.

Only thing it helped me with was keeping a streak but can’t I be dedicated to SOMETHING? lol

actually I’d just get super busy so the streak was impractical.

they’re trying to make people commit to their app with the whole streak and also make people addicted with the accessories and “ouuu choose me see me” of getting dibs on Snapchat stars and the chances of them seeing your replies to their stories.

Its super unnecessary, if ya did ask me. 👐😬

Possibly, but this is coming from a guy who doesn't even have a mobile device and who uses his account through Snapchat for Web so sometimes I can't even open Snaps, so it's probably not the most insightful opinion of them all.

I’d say no social media app is worth paying for. I, at least, would never use their premium features. Actually, with the except of LinkedIn for job search.

$3 to try and see if you like something for a month is dirt cheap compared to most out there. Plus just cause someone on here doesn’t like it doesn’t mean you won’t. Stop being a tightwad and fork over $3 and see if you like it. If you don’t then go to subscriptions and change it to cancel. For less than the cost of a cheeseburger you can test it out fir a month. Seems like the best option for you. I hope you do enjoy it
